About me

Proper Signs, AKA Lois,  is a traditional signwriter based in Cornwall, offering custom hand painted signs.

 

Influenced by graffiti, her love for letters is bold and bright but created using traditional methods.

Lois first discovered sign writing a fair few years ago and has admired the craft mainly from the sidelines, attempting a few hand painted signs over the years and attending a workshop. However, thanks to a period of furlough and Joby Carter's affordable zoom courses, in 2020 Lois became immersed in the world of signs.

Lois is more than happy to travel for anything sign related.
